1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon molasses
1/4 cup milk
1 3/4 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Baking sheet with a silicon mat
Whisk together wet ingredients.
In another bowl, mix together dry.
Slowly incorporate dry into wet, then stir in raisins and nuts if using. Let batter sit 30 minutes at room temperature.
Scoop 1 1/2 inch balls about 3 inches apart onto your baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for 9 minutes.
Let sit 5 minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
1/2 sugar and 1/2 Splenda Cup for Cup works ok in this recipe.
